An electrostatic image developing toner of the exemplary embodiment of the invention contains an amorphous first polyester resin of a polycondenzation product of at least a carboxylic acid component and an alcohol component containing rosin, and a second polyester resin having the difference (absolute value) in parameter of solubility relative to the first polyester resin of from about 0.3 (cal/cm3)1/2 to about 3 (cal/cm3)1/2.

an amorphous first polyester resin that is a polycondensation product of at least a carboxylic acid component and a rosin-containing alcohol component represented by the following formula (1): where in the formula (1),each of R1 and R2 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group,each of L1, L2, and L3 independently represents a divalent linking group selected from the group consisting of a carbonyl group, an ester group, an ether group, a sulfonyl group, a chained alkylene group which may have a substituent, a cyclic alkylene group which may have a substituent, an arylene group which may have a substituent, and a combination thereof,L1 and L2 or L1 and L3 may form a ring, andeach of A1 and A2 independently represents a rosin ester group; and a second polyester resin having a difference (absolute value) in parameter of solubility relative to the first polyester resin of from about 0.3 (cal/cm3)1/2 to about 3 (cal/cm3)1/2.
