A method of quantitative determination of potassium ions in the water-alcohol extracts of medicinal plants, wherein before measurement the potassium-selective electrode is calibrated with standard solutions, in 0,5 ÷ 1 ml or gram of hydroalcoholic extract of medicinal plants, 1 ml or gram of 0.025 M aqueous solution of magnesium sulfate (MgSO) Is added. Further it is diluted with twice distilled water to 10 ml or grams, mixed and introduced into a beaker for analysis, with immersion of potassium-selective electrode and reference electrode with a double salt bridge which is filled with 1 mole solution of LiSOand the potential difference is measured, this is converted into concentration of potassium ions by calibration line, or analytically at a constant ionic strength of the solution. |
