A method for determination of the reduced metal melting heat (RH) includes temperature measuring during smelting. The temperature is measured at the end of each melting period, with determination of duration of the periods and relative overheating of metal over the liquidus point, and on the basis of the data obtained, by plotting a graph, area of each smelting period is calculated, limited with x-axis (time) and the line of increase the relative metal overheating, and with summing the area values reduced heat (RH) is determined. |
