The barrel of a shaft hoist engine comprises a cylindrical shell with external helical groove for a lifting rope, foreheads with windows installed inside the shell with the displacement of its ends, stiffening elements in the form of external and internal gussets and radially oriented inner ribs which are connected by two sides and which form a right angle to the inner surface of the shell and to each forehead respectively. Moreover, the long side of the inner ribs is attached to the forehead and the short side is attached to the inner surface of the shell. Each inner gusset the third free side is curved, for example concave, and the short side of each inner rib has a protuberance connected to the inner surface of the shell, and the protuberance height gradually decreases towards the free side of the inner edge. |
