<p>PURPOSE: A left-right independent-and-parallel steer by wire system is provided to reduce the electrical energy consumption of a motor and the damage possibility of parts by coping with external force transmitted through a wheel with two motors, to reduce the cost and the weight of a vehicle by lowering the demand of the component strength, and to execute the steering control accurately, stably, and rapidly. CONSTITUTION: A left-right independent-and-parallel steer by wire system is composed of two pairs of motors(M1~M4), a tie rod, and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit). The two pairs of motors are arranged in front and rear sides of a wheel around a king pin of a left wheel(11) and a right wheel(12). The tie rod connects the motor and the wheel to transmit the driving force of the motor to the wheel. The ECU controls the two pairs of motors so that each wheel is steered to be corresponded to the rotating direction of the steering wheel by sensing the rotating direction of a steering wheel.</p> |
