More specifically, the present invention relates to a positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, which comprises: a core part where the concentrations of nickel, manganese, and cobalt show gradients toward the surface from the center of the positive electrode active material; and a shell part formed on the outer side of the core part, wherein the concentrations of nickel, manganese and cobalt are constant.
