The present invention relates to a slab heating apparatus. The slab heating apparatus comprises: a heating unit heating a slab; a movable beam unit which is formed in a longitudinal direction of the heating unit and transfers the slab; a stationary beam unit which is formed in a longitudinal direction of the heating unit and supports the slab; and a meandering prevention unit which is formed in a longitudinal direction of the heating unit and prevents a slab from meandering by being in contact with the slab. Therefore, the slab heating apparatus can prevent the slab heated and moved in a heating furnace from meandering.
