<p>The present invention relates to a method for transmitting image data of a terminal and an apparatus therefor and, more specifically, to an image data displaying method for an external device which provides the image data at an optimal resolution corresponding to the resolution of the external device, when the image outputted via an application is transmitted to and displayed on the external device, by using a virtual screen of a buffer, and an apparatus therefor. According to the present invention, high quality service can be enabled by providing the image data at the same resolution as that of the external device by using a virtual screen inside the terminal, even when the external device connected to the terminal has a big resolution. In addition, when a plurality of applications are executed, a size and a region for the virtual screen are adjusted to match the number of the executed applications and the resolution of the external device, thereby allocating and outputting the applications to an overall area of a screen.</p> |
