摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of preparing a mold for casting a gas turbine blade and a vane.SOLUTION: A turbine airfoil has complicated inner and outer air cooling structures. The cooling structures improve cooling efficiency of an airfoil in a hot air current of a gas turbine during an operation. A method of preparing a mold includes a process of incorporating at least one fugitive insert 50 into a ceramic material to form a core 100 and at least part of integral type cooperation mold walls 102a, 102b. The core 100 defines the inner cooling structure, and at least part of the mold walls 102a, 102b has an inner surface for defining the outer cooling structure provided for the cast airfoil. The method further includes processes of: selectively removing the fugitive inserts 50; and incorporating the core 100 and at least part of the integral type cooperation mold walls 102a, 102b into the mold to receive molten metal or alloy cast in the mold.</p>
