<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass sheet material capable of efficiently retrieving, to the outside, lights emitted from an organic light emission layer and, by devising a substrate material having a high gas barrier capacity, of enhancing the light retrieval efficiency and reliability of organic EL illumination, etc.SOLUTION: The provided glass sheet has a thickness of 2 mm or less, has at least one polished surface, has a refractive index nd of at least 1.55, has a transmissivity of at least 75% at a thickness of 0.7 m and at 400 nm, and has a glass composition including, in terms of mass%, 0-55% of SiO, 0-10% of AlO, 0-20% of BO, 0-25% of the sum of MgO+CaO+SrO, 10-60% of the sum of BaO+TiO+NbO+LaO+ZnO+ZrO, 0-0.05% of FeO, and 0.001-1% of the content of SnO+Cl+SO.</p> |
