PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ammonia removal device which can simply maintain an optimal temperature of a catalyst that decomposes ammonia in hydrogen containing gas.SOLUTION: An ammonia removal device 100 comprises a first catalyst 1 as an oxidation catalyst that reduces ammonia in hydrogen containing gas by oxidation reaction, and a second catalyst 2. The second catalyst 2 comprises at least one of an oxidation catalyst different from the first catalyst 1, and a methanation catalyst that reduces carbon monoxide in hydrogen containing gas by methanation reaction.
