<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chamfering method for a rare-earth sintered magnet by which chamfering can be efficiently carried out.SOLUTION: The chamfering method for a rare-earth sintered magnet 3 comprises a step of contacting a rotating brush 2 with a corner part or a marginal part of the rare-earth sintered magnet 3, and a step of supplying a coolant 11 in a contact part between the brush 2 and the sintered magnet 3. A brush hair material has a plurality of elastic hair materials composed of abrasive grains and metal particles different from the abrasive grains, the abrasive grain is a diamond abrasive grain, and the metal particle is composed of at least one metal selected from a group consisting of stainless steel, iron, copper, brass and aluminum, or an alloy thereof.</p> |
