摘要 The present invention relates to methods for enhancing differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells into chondrocytes and/or inducing chondrogenesis. The invention also relates to applications in the treatment of diseases which can affect cartilage (chondrodystrophies). The present invention also relates to methods of treatment comprising establishing a population of chondrocytes from a population of mesenchymal stem cells, which have been induced to differentiate with a synthetic triterpenoid, and administering the population of cells to a patient.
