PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ethylenic copolymer containing a structural unit derived from 5-vinyl-2-norbornene with excellent crosslinking characteristics, and a solar cell encapsulation material and a solar cell module using the same.SOLUTION: Provided is an ethylenic copolymer containing structural units derived from ethylene and 5-vinyl-2-norbornene, where a specific structural unit (A) derived from 5-vinyl-2-norbornene is contained in an amount of 1.0% or more relative to the whole structural units derived from 5-vinyl-2-norbornene.
