<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save wiring by using a private communication network for part of a communication path transmitting meter-reading information, and to make it easy to secure communication quality.SOLUTION: A remote meter-reading system comprises a house terminal 11, a communication device 12, an aggregation device 13, a meter-reading terminal 15, and a power distribution board 21. The meter-reading terminal 15 obtains meter-reading information from a power meter 20. The house terminal 11 is arranged in each house 101 and communicates with the meter-reading terminal 15. The communication device 12 is housed in the power distribution board 21 arranged in each house 101, and relays a communication signal between the meter-reading terminal 15 and the house terminal 11. The aggregation device 13 communicates with the house terminal 11 by use of a private communication network 1 laid in a housing complex 10, aggregates the meter-reading information which the house terminal 11 obtained from the meter-reading terminal 15, and further transmits the aggregated meter-reading information to a management device 30 provided at the outside of the housing complex 10.</p> |
