<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine cooling structure capable of efficiently cooling an inter-bore region.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine cooling structure comprises: a cylinder block 1 provided with a block-side cooling water passage 5 surrounding entirely a plurality of cylinder bores 1a; a cylinder head 2 provided with a head-side cooling water passage 6; and a gasket 3 interposing between the cylinder block 1 and the cylinder head 2. The gasket 2 includes intermediate communication holes 33 provided on both sides across a cylinder string center line Lr, respectively, and each communicating a block opening portion 51 with a head opening portion 63 in a partition wall portion 1b. In a cross-section passing through the partition wall portion 1b and orthogonal to the cylinder string center line Lr, an internal end portion 63d of the head opening portion 63 is provided eccentric to the cylinder string center line Lr rather than an inner end portion 51a of the block opening portion 51, and an inner end portion 33d of each intermediate communication hole 33 is provided between the inner end portion 63d and the inner end portion 51a.</p> |
