<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development that is well-balanced to have excellent low-temperature fixability, excellent developing characteristics such as blocking resistance and filming resistance, and excellent storage stability; and toner base particles for the toner.SOLUTION: There is provided toner base particles having a core-shell structure in which resin fine particles including at least a mold release agent are attached as a shell to the surface of each of core particles including at least a binder resin and colorant. When an approximate ellipse having the area 84.6% of the cross-sectional area of the toner base particles is drawn inside a TEM image of the cross section of the toner base particles, the amount of the mold release agent contained in the outside of the approximate ellipse sphere obtained by rotating the approximate ellipse around the longitudinal axis is 50% or more and 100% or less of the total amount of the mold release agent in the toner base particles; and the toner base particles have a shape factor of 150 or more. Also provided is a toner for electrostatic charge image development having an external additive externally added to the toner base particles.</p> |
