<p>Disclosed are a method and device for querying and notifying scheduler supporting ability. In the method, an OpenFlow controller sends a scheduler ability query message to the OpenFlow switch, wherein the scheduler ability query message is used for acquiring scheduler supporting ability of an OpenFlow switch; and the OpenFlow controller receives a scheduler ability querying response message from the OpenFlow switch and acquires the scheduler supporting ability according to the scheduler ability querying response message. According to the technical solution provided in the present invention, it is achieved that the OpenFlow controller acquires the scheduler supporting ability of the OpenFlow switch in advance, thereby effectively avoiding the occurrence of the case where the control operation of the OpenFlow controller to the OpenFlow switch fails.</p> |
