A method of operating a user equipment (UE) that is participating in a coordinate-sharing communication session with at least one other UE, comprising: displaying (420A, 425A, 430A), on a display of the UE, a given visual representation of media content associated with the coordinate-sharing communication session; receiving user input (43 5A, 440A, 445A) that indicates a selection of at least one coordinate of the given visual representation; and selectively transmitting (455A, 460A, 450A) a coordinate packet indicating the selection of the at least one coordinate for dissemination to the at least one other UE; characterised in that the co-ordinate packet indicates the selection of the at least one co-ordinate by indicating a position at which the selection occurred relative to the given visual representation on the display of the UE.
