<p>The present invention relates to a system and a method for public terminal device security. The system comprises: a first communication unit for short range communications; a second communication unit for communicating with a security management device over a communication network; a user terminal information storage unit for storing information on user terminals; an authentication code generation unit for extracting a security identification code of a user terminal device from the user terminal device information storage unit when a security identification code is received from the user terminal device connected through the first communication unit, comparing the extracted security identification code with the received security identification code, generating an authentication code when the identification codes match, and transmitting authentication information including the generated authentication code to a security management device through the second communication unit; and a usage right approval processing unit for comparing an authentication code included in a usage right request signal with the previously generated authentication code when the usage right request signal including the authentication code is received from the user terminal device, and transmitting a usage right approval message to the user terminal device when the comparison result shows that the authentication codes match.</p> |
