The system has an actuating cable (2) arranged in a cladding (10), where an end (2a) of the cable is slid in a receiving portion (1a) of a lever (7) and another end of the cable is secured at an actuating element. A threaded stopper (8) stops an end of the cladding upon actuation of the system. A cog (3) is mounted around the receiving portion. The stopper is screwed into the cog and slid in the receiving portion such that the tension of the cable between the lever and the actuating element is adjusted by rotating the cog. An independent claim is also included for an operation device.
