PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and precisely perform an operation of confirming conformity between an image of the last discharged paper page displayed on a display screen and an image of the actual last paper image. SOLUTION: Upon the occurrence of paper jamming during continuous printing, when an operation panel 160 receives a printing resume instruction, the printing is resumed from the next page of a page image A<SB POS="POST">n</SB>displayed on a display screen 170. An operation panel control unit 120 reads printing image data for a plurality of pages before and after the occurrence of the jamming from a printing image data storage area 200, generates difference information indicating an image area where the image contents of the plurality of pages are different from each other on the basis of the read printing image data, and operates for displaying a difference magnification image E obtained by magnifying a difference display area E<SB POS="POST">0</SB>in the page image A<SB POS="POST">n</SB>corresponding to the image area indicated by the generated difference information.
