<p>A basic array pattern P1 of 4×6 pixels formed by sub-arrays P1-1, P1-2, P1-3, and PI-4 of 2×3 pixels is repeatedly arranged in horizontal and vertical directions. G filters are arranged on both diagonals in the sub-arrays P1-1, P1-2, P1-3, and P1-4. As a result, the G filters are arranged in each line in the horizontal, vertical, and oblique directions of a color filter array, and R and B filters are arranged in each line in the horizontal and vertical directions of the color filter array. A proportion of the number of G pixels with a high contribution ratio for obtaining luminance signals of the basic array pattern PI is greater than ratios of the numbers of R and B pixels of other colors, and this is effective in a demosaicing process.</p> |
