<p>Disclosed are a smart key system using a qwerty keyboard as an input device, in which the qwerty keyboard is provided to a smart key so that the utility of the smart key is improved in a vehicle, and a control method thereof. The control method includes the steps of: searching a head unit if a pairing switch is inputted in a smart key device; setting the connection by pairing the head unit searched by the smart key device; if information is inputted by the qwerty keyboard after the connection is set in the smart key device, sending the input information to the head unit via bluetooth communication; receiving the information sent from the smart key device by the head unit via the Bluetooth communication; and executing a command corresponding to the information received by the head unit to extract and display road guidance information.</p> |
