The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling shellfish and, more specifically, to an apparatus for controlling shellfish using pressure plates, wherein wires for a marine forest are connected to a first pressure plate and a second pressure plate by a elastic member so that if the shellfish climes up the wire, the first plate and second pressure plate repeatedly united and separated by ocean current are allowed to not only compress the shellfish and then remove the same but also prevent the wire from being cut by easing the impact caused by the current and then to improve durability, leading to extension of service life.
