<p>An optical film contains an acryl-based resin. At least one of a tensile elastic modulus in a mechanical direction and a tensile elastic modulus of a direction perpendicular to the mechanical direction is less than 2.3×109 N/m^2. an in-plane retardation value Re (nm) of the optical film, which is expressed with the following Equation (i), satisfies the following Equation (ia). In Equation (i) Re=(nx-ny)×d and Equation (ia)ΔRe=Re(10)-Re(0)<=10, nx represents a refractive index of an in-plane slow axis direction of the optical film, ny represents a refractive index of an in-plane fast axis of the optical film, d represents a thickness (nm) of the optical film, Re (10) represents a retardation value when the optical film is extended by 10%, and Re (0) represents a retardation value when the optical film is not extended.</p> |
