PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boxing device enabling the boxing of an article group in a standing posture. SOLUTION: The boxing device includes: carrying conveyors 316R and 316L that convey the article group C, in which articles B that consist of a packaging material are placed in a condition of partially overlapping with adjacent articles, to a position P; a raising part which makes the article group C have the standing posture at the predetermined position P; and a catcher 410 which carries the article group C in the standing posture from the predetermined position P to a corrugated fiberboard box for storing the article group C.
