PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing device that reduces the amount of calculation in filter processing of digital data to speed up the filter processing. SOLUTION: A data processing device divides input data into a plurality of pieces of division data in a predetermined data size (S201), divides a filter into a plurality of division filters based on a predetermined data size (S204), creates an approximation polynomial of a filter coefficient for each of the plurality of division filters (S205), and subjects filter processing to the input data with a filter using the plurality of pieces of division data, the plurality of division filter, and the approximation polynomial (S206).
