<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high purity chemical container with favorable surface brilliance, the chemical container preventing elution of a pollutant such as an eluted material and a degraded substance from a polyethylene resin into high purity chemicals as far as possible, more in detail, an alcohol container for a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The straight polyethylene is an ethylene homopolymer or a copolymer of an ethylene unit and a 3-20C α-olefin for the high purity chemical container, wherein the density, melt flow rate, Mw/Mn, an occupancy probability of a component with molecular weight of 1,000 or less, an occupancy probability of a component with molecular weight of 1,000,000 or more, number of melt point peak, extracted amount of n-heptane, and the content of 18C and 20C hydrocarbon components is in specific ranges. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
