1. A serial attached small computer systems interface SAS) module comprising:
a first port with (i) a first physical layer device, and (ii) a first port control module, wherein the first physical layer device communicates with a plurality of initiators, wherein the first port control module is configured to store a first world wide name table, and wherein the first world wide name table comprises connection rates of the plurality of initiators during communication with the first physical layer device, each of the connection rates is a last connection rate of a respective one of the plurality of initiators; and a second port comprising a second physical layer device and a second port control module, wherein the second physical layer device communicates with the plurality of initiators, wherein (i) the second port control module is configured to store a second world wide name table, or (ii) the first port control module is configured to share the first world wide name table with the second port control module, and wherein the second world wide name table comprises connection rates, each of the connection rates of the second world wide name table is a last connection rate of a respective one of the plurality of initiators. |
