The present invention relates to a hopper for precipitating sludge. When contaminated soil is washed and contaminated sewage is treated, sludge mixed with water, such as slime produced from contaminants or fine soils, is repeatedly pressurized and depressurized, so that the mechanical bonding and cohering of slime particles are promoted and floating sludge produced from fine slime is forcibly precipitated. Also, precipitation time for extracting sludge is reduced, and concentrated and precipitated sludge is provided so that the lifespan of a filter used in a dehydrating and drying step can be extended. To this end, the hopper of the present invention comprises: a sludge precipitating hopper tank which is equipped with a cylindrical tank and with an inverted cone-shaped hopper formed in the bottom end of the cylindrical tank; and a rounding disc equipped in the tank. The rounding disc is supported and roundly driven because an arm of a hydraulic device fixed to a hydraulic device supporting and fixing member which is fixed and adhered on the top end outer circumferential surface of the sludge precipitating hopper tank is extended. A center well is formed in the center of the rounding disc so that contaminated water including slime is added through a contaminated water feeding pipe. A sludge valve is formed on the bottom end surface of the sludge precipitating hopper tank so that separated and collected sludge is discharged. An upper water valve is formed on the top end side surface of the sludge precipitating hopper tank so that upper water separated from sludge is collected.
