The present invention relates to a method to diagnose a pump performance using a thermodynamic flowmeter. The method comprises: a first step of measuring vibration and pressure information in real time from a vibration sensor and a pressure sensor installed in a pump inlet pipe and a pump outlet pipe respectively; a second step of measuring the active power of a motor supplying electricity to a pump; a third step of accurately measuring the actual flow rate of the pump, using a temperature sensor and a thermodynamic flowmeter; and a fourth step. In the fourth step, it is determined whether the pump is normally operated based on an information on the input temperature, pressure, vibration, speed, and information on an active power of a motor and a flow rate. When pump performance is included in the information on a database design and test performance characteristic analysis, the lifespan of the pump is predicted and managed. When the pump performance is not included in the information on the database design and test performance characteristic analysis, each piece of information is checked on again based on the information, and abnormal information is complemented such that the pump performance can be included in the information on the database design and test performance characteristic analysis to predict the lifespan of the pump. According to the method, the input and output pressure of the pump equipment and the active power of a motor inlet are measured when the pump is installed and operated on a site. The flow rate of the pump and the performance of the pump equipment can automatically be predicted, thus improving the method for maintenance, repair, and operation of each pump required on site. Accordingly, electrical energy can be saved; and also, it can be determined whether the pump equipment is normally operated. In addition, the lifespan of the pump equipment can be predicted.
|
