1. A plug assembly adapted to be received relative to an opening at a first end of a pipe for preventing debris passing therein, comprising:
a first portion adapted to be received relative to the opening, and a substantially planar second portion, the first portion being fixedly connected to a first surface of the second portion to hold the first portion in position when the plug assembly is positioned relative to the opening, a second surface of the second portion presenting a substantially flat surface covering and extending beyond the first portion, the second portion having a region made from a porous material which allows fluid to readily permeate through the plug assembly and pipe, wherein the fluid may pass in either direction through the plug assembly without debris passing through with the fluid. |
