COLD START CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FUEL CELL VEHICLE

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for cold start control of a fuel cell vehicle. The method for cold start control of a fuel cell system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: detecting, for several times, and storing temperatures of an inlet and an outlet for a fuel cell coolant after the ignition of the fuel cell vehicle is turned off; and controlling an ignition sequence based on the lowest temperature among the stored temperatures and the temperatures of the inlet and the outlet for the coolant when the ignition is started again. Therefore, safety and stability of ignition and driving are strengthened by controlling the cold start sequence according to the state of the inside of the fuel cell stack.
