The present invention relates to the structures of a racing cam unit and a transfer cam unit from among cam devices for adjusting a needle which can be installed in a sock knitting device; and a novel driving device for remarkably improving the structures so as to contribute to the simplification of the structures and increases in the activities and efficiency of operation so that the driving device can be advantageously used in reducing malfunctions and breakdowns which can occur during operation. In a general sock knitting device including a slope inducing cam operating device, a second operating device which is integrally equipped with the racing cam and transfer cam is bent in a ″��Prime; shape at the rear end of an operating plate. An installation bracket having an assembly groove having a particular size is additionally included (integrally or connectively). A linear push rod protrudes from the front of the assembly groove of the installation bracket. A two-stage operating air cylinder coupled with an air supplying valve is coupled on the rear thereof.
