<p>PURPOSE: A portable terminal and a personal information protecting method using the same are provided to prevent the disclosure and leakage of personal information stored in the portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: An output unit(150) displays a SIM(Subscriber Identity Module) card related information, and an interface unit(170) is built with the SIM card. A memory(160) stores SIM card number, password and user's personal information. When the variation of the SIM card mounted at the interface unit, a control unit(180) displays the content whether or not the data stored in the storage unit should be deleted.</p> |
