The invention concerns a reactor (200) for the production of hydrogen and zinc oxide and electric power, said reactor comprising a container, within which there are provided a cell (100) and a solution, said cell (100) providing at least two first zinc elements or plates (1) and at least two second metallic elements or plates (2), said first (1) and second (2) plates being connected by short-circuit or on external load, said solution comprising at least water, CnH2nOn (n - 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7) and sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide, said water, CnH2nOn (n - 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7) and sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide, being present in said solution, respectively, according to the following weight ratios: water (H2O) 1000g CnH2nOn (n - 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7) 10g - 700g sodium hydroxide (NaOH) or potassium hydroxide (KOH) 10g - 700g, said cell (100) being immersed within said solution. |
