<p>A liquid crystal display capable of improving display quality while achieving a reduction in manufacturing cost. The liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal panel having multiple pixels arranged at a first pitch; a light source for supplying light to the liquid crystal panel; and a light guide plate for guiding the light to the liquid crystal panel, wherein prisms are formed on the light guide plate at a second pitch, the second pitch is the sum of a quotient and a corrected value, the quotient is obtained by dividing the first pitch by a natural number m, the corrected value depends on a selected viewing distance and an interval between the liquid crystal panel and the prisms.</p> |
