<p>The present invention relates to a composition for anti-obesity comprising an extract of a starfish and more specifically, to a composition for anti-obesity comprising glycolipid components of a starfish extract and a food composition for anti-obesity comprising glycolipid components of a starfish extract. The glycolipid components of the starfish extract of the present invention preferably shows anti-obesity activities, thereby the starfish extract can be used as food or pharmaceutical composition being used to prevent and treat obesity. Moreover, it can be used as a therapeutic agent for complications such as hypertension, cardiovascular disorders, and cerebrovascular disease caused by obesity.
