摘要 The present invention relates to a method of providing real-time guide on approachability of an intersection on a road wherein a vehicle is currently driven using rotation information which can be obtained in a vehicle without using a path search function of a navigation system. The method of providing real-time guide on a path approach control based on the rotation information includes: a first step of obtaining information on a present position of a vehicle from a global positioning system (GPS) and, according to the information on the present position of the vehicle, obtaining x and y coordinates of a path in which the vehicle is driven; a second step of matching the obtained x and y coordinates and a map data stored in the navigation system; a third step of obtaining rotation angle information in accordance to the rotation of the vehicle when the vehicle is rotated; a fourth step of obtaining an advancing angle of road candidates approachable from the intersection; a fifth step of comparing the rotation angle information according to the rotation of the vehicle obtained from the third step with the advancing angle of the road candidates obtained from the fourth step to determine a road to be approached by the vehicle; a sixth step of obtaining information on the characteristics of the road to be approached determined by the fifth step; and a seventh step of providing a real-time guide on approach control based on the information on the characteristics of the road to be approached obtained by the sixth step.
