<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a system having a simple configuration which does not use a satellite and requires no aircraft information from an external system of a communication carrier.SOLUTION: An aircraft communication system includes: an aircraft; a plurality of ground stations arranged on a flight path of the aircraft; and a control station which is connected to the plurality of ground stations by ground lines and controls the ground stations. The aircraft includes: a radio device unit having a control unit for performing control so that a plurality of array antenna units transmit beams in directions differing from each other, a position information acquisition unit, and a storage unit for storing information for performing beam-forming; and a radio service unit for transmitting/receiving radio signals to/from a terminal in the aircraft. The aircraft stores pieces of position information on the plurality of ground stations and the aircraft into the storage unit, forms a beam to a ground station on the basis of two pieces of position information, and transmits the beam. The ground station also includes an array antenna unit. Both of the aircraft and ground station perform beam-forming to continue communication.</p> |
