Provided is a compact and lightweight device which is able to be carried by a patient and treat Meniere's disease and symptoms similar thereto, the device being able to perform safe and right treatment when used by the patient. The device is a portable device (10) capable of treating Meniere's disease and symptoms similar thereto by guiding an air pressure wave motion to an external auditory canal and vibrating an auditory ossicle through a tympanic membrane, and is provided with a pump unit (20) for generating the air pressure wave motion, an earpiece (80) for transmitting the air pressure wave motion to the tympanic membrane, and a control unit (50) for controlling the operation of the pump unit (20), and the duration, pressure, pulse width, and frequency of the air pressure wave motion are adjustable. |
