PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake system having high energy efficiency while securing work of brakes.SOLUTION: An electric brake system comprises: cable to be connected to a brake; an electric motor for pulling the cable; and a control part for performing driving control of the electric motor to apply pulling load to the cable, where the control part applies load, to the cable, where decrement of load transmission efficiency of the cable on the basis of a permanent deformation amount of the cable is compensated. |
