<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of removing a relatively small foreign substance from paste without deteriorating the paste.SOLUTION: A foreign substance removal device 1 for removing a foreign substance from paste comprises an impeller 10 and a filter 20. The impeller 10 includes blades 12 and 12 configured to form a rotation track in a truncated cone shape where the diameter is gradually enlarged toward an upper side. The filter 20 includes a side part 22 which is formed along an outer circumference of the rotation track of the blades 12 and 12. The side part 22 includes open holes 23, 23, ..., and each open hole 23 includes a penetrating portion 23a penetrating the side part 22 and a notched portion 23b formed to notch an upper side portion of the penetrating portion 23a in the side part 22. The notched portion 23b is configured to form a surface which is inclined at an angleθ(0°<θ<90°) with respect to an inner peripheral surface of the side part 22 in a side surface sectional view of the side part 22, from an upper portion of the penetrating portion 23a on the inner peripheral surface of the side part 22 to the penetrating portion 23a.</p> |
