Eco-friendly coffin, consisting of a box (1) formed by two halves (1a), identical and symmetrical in their longitudinal axis (2), joined together, made of biodegradable, compostable, water-soluble and non-toxic material, consisting of Polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH), additives and fillers and obtained via injection into a mold. The box (1) has a fill hole with cap (5). The joint (3) between the halves Is sealed by incorporating a water-based mixture and PVOH material, additives and fillers. The fill hole is determined by recesses (4) arranged along the edge of the two halves (1a) and the cap (5); it is sealed by the same water-based mixture and PVOH material, additives and fillers along the joint. Cross-wise and longitudinal reinforcements (6) are located on each half (1a) and in thin areas (7). |
