This electric connection member for a light emitting device is configured to be electrically connected to an electrode of the light emitting device that is provided with a substrate, an optical semiconductor element mounted on the substrate, and the electrode that is provided on the substrate such that the electrode is to be electrically connected to the optical semiconductor element. The electric connection member is provided with: a sandwiching member that is configured to sandwich the substrate in the thickness direction of the substrate; and a conductive member, that is configured to be in contact with the electrode by means of a pressing force of the sandwiching member.
