The present invention relates to a separation device for a satellite and, more specifically, to a separation device for a satellite which can be installed in a narrow space and can be separated with less force by having a light weight and a short and small size. The separation device for a satellite comprises: a housing; a rotation part installed inside the housing to be rotated; an elastic part in which elastic torsion energy for storing the rotation part is stored; a restriction unit for selectively restricting the rotation part if necessary; a separation pin separated according to the rotation of the rotation part; and a shape-memory alloy actuator for controlling the operation of the restriction unit.
