PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear pump that can control both thermal expansion in a radial direction and thermal expansion in an axial direction of a gear pump rotor to suppress meshing imbalance between gear teeth, and also can enhance a pump efficiency, and to provide an electric pump.SOLUTION: In the gear pump, the gear pump rotor 40 is accommodated in a pump housing chamber 33 formed in a pump enclosure 31. An outer rotor 41 and an inner rotor 42 of the gear pump rotor 40 are formed of super engineering plastic. The super engineering plastic contains carbon fiber F so that the longitudinal direction of the carbon fiber F is oriented in the radial direction. The gear pump rotor 40 has a lower thermal expansion in the radial direction than that in the axial direction. |
