PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direction control device for a universal wheel which has excellent versatility.SOLUTION: A direction control device 9 is equipped with a stem 10 attachable to a caster 1, and a regulation part 11 which is rotatably provided to the stem 10 and regulates rotational motion of the caster 1, and thus, the direction control device 9 has the stem 10 which is attachable to the caster 1. Consequently, the direction control device 9 can be used in a such a manner that the device is attached to another caster 1, whereby versatility of the device 9 can be improved. Further, lock means 18 for fixing the stem 10 and the regulation part 11 is provided to the direction control device 9. Thus, by fixing the stem 10 and the regulation part 11 with use of the lock means 18, regulation of rotation of the caster 1 by regulation part 11 and release of regulation of the caster 1 can be switched-over. |
