摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attenuation force variable damper which can effectively adjust an attenuation force in both cases that a piston-assembled body moves to a first fluid chamber side, and the piston-assembled body moves to a second fluid chamber side.SOLUTION: An attenuation force variable damper 10 has a piston-assembled body 14 which includes: a piston case 34 having a fluid passage 86 which partitions a cylinder 12 into an upper hydraulic chamber 31 and a lower hydraulic chamber 32, and makes the upper hydraulic chamber 31 and the lower hydraulic chamber 32 communicate with each other; valve means 71 for opening and closing the fluid passage 86; and a piezoelectric body 51 which is elongated when supplied with power, and presses the valve means to the fluid passage 86 side. The piezoelectric body 51 increases and decreases an attenuation force acting on the piston-assembled body 14 by increasing and decreasing a pressing force for pressing the valve means 71. Then, when the piston-assembled body 14 moves to the upper hydraulic chamber 31 side, and moves to the lower hydraulic chamber 32 side, an absolute value of a variation width of the pressure of the upper hydraulic chamber 31 becomes larger than an absolute value of a variation width of the pressure of the lower hydraulic chamber 32.</p>
